4th of July, etc.

We celebrated the 4th of July here in Ghana on the 3rd, which was our day off. It was a rainy afternoon, but we collaborated to make/bring some great food, including guacamole, cole slaw, mango and pineapple salad, hotdogs, apple pie (sort of), ice cream, etc. We had tons of fun playing cards, singing patriotic songs (surprisingly moving), and dancing.

On Sunday, I will leave for off-site language training in Hohoe in the Volta Region. From there, it is four straight weeks of travel.
