HIV Presentation

Don't miss the videos of my HIV presentation!

I gave an HIV presentation in sign language to my JHS students. This was in preparation for a poster contest we will have next term.

My wonderful student Kwabene was helping me show cards during the 'risk' game.

question time

I was telling them to clean any tools that they use that cut the skin.

Dan, another teacher, was helping me during the question session if the students were signing too fast.

I have a way of making babies happy...or not.

Murals have started! A grid of primary colors. Neither the floor, ceiling, or adjacent walls are anywhere near 90 degrees/perfect, so we're doing the best we can...

There's a genetic condition called Waardenburg Syndrome that combines deafness and blue or brown eyes--I have at least four students with blue eyes---Akeliweletu is one. Beautiful!

Mariama has one blue and one brown eye

Angelina has blue eyes and partially white hair which is also characteristic of Waardenburg Syndrome.

This baby was sitting alone on this moto for quite a while before his father came back.
