Staging

Finally, finally the day has come, June 6, 2011. I am sitting in my Arlington hotel room after a long day of Peace Corps logistics meetings and handshaking. I have met the 75 (approx.) people who will be joining me on my trip to Ghana. They are a diverse group of folks from all over the country, and I am excited to get to know them in the next months. Tomorrow night we will fly directly to Accra, Ghana--an 11 hour flight.

I may not have access to the internet for several days, and then I will only have periodic access for the next three months during training.
